Website Redesign and Ebook Launch Strategy
for Holistic Nutritionist
How might I provide services to my community and increase immunity against Covid-19 in a natural and efficient way?

Natalie Barbosa is a Registered Dietician and Nutritionist who launched her website a few months ago.
In the middle of the pandemic, Natalie felt an urge to create a resource for her community as Covid-19 ravaged New York City.
As a Registered Dietician, she understood that because we’d been in lockdown for so long, our immune systems had naturally weakened. She wanted a way to help improve our immune systems without in person meetings.

"How might I provide services to my community and increase immunity against Covid-19 in a natural efficient way?"

After performing an initial site audit, I realized there were a number of things that could be improved throughout the site such as:

In order to validate the need for an Recipe Ebook to boost immune systems, we set up a poll on Instagram surveying her 200 followers.
55 voters expressed interest in the handpicked recipes.
The following questions were asked:
- Do you find yourself running out of meals ideas during quarantine?
- Did you know your body's immune system is directly impacted by the foods you eat?
- Do you find yourself getting sick often during the year?
- Would you be interested in handpicked recipes with foods that boost immunity?

Once we saw that 55 people were interested, we set up a landing page to start building Natalie's email list in order to prelaunch the ebook.
We realized that we needed to get more information to build out the content for the ebook and followed this up with another survey.
Of the original 55, only 18 people joined the email list and only 6 completed the additional survey. (left image)
We were also able to determine pricing for the ebook and were pleasantly surprised that almost 90% of our subscribers were willing to pay more than $10.

Some major points we focused for the new home page

After implementing the launch strategy, Natalie was able to grow her email list to over 20 subscribers.
To date, she’s made over $200 in ebook sales.
