I'm a Communications Graduate with a Psychology minor and 3+ years of experience as a Web Designer & Content Creator.
I'm an innate problem solver passionate about designing solutions to improve the quality of life for marginalized communities.
Whilst I was researching a solution to improve my experiences with a mobile app, I noticed several of my friends were having similar issues so I sought out to solve this problem. I eventually discovered the UX Design field and immersed myself into it.
I dove into articles, watched YouTube videos from UX Designers (dare I say Influencers?) and enrolled in courses with Interaction Design Foundation and Georgia Tech EdX, to better understand the UX process and what a UX Designer role entails.
I also joined slack communities and began volunteering as a UX Designer with Hack for LA.
I've taken a lot of turns in my career journey.
However, I've realized common threads throughout
them all such as:
→ serving others
→ expressing creativity
→ strategically solving problems
→ improving visual aesthetics
→ developing efficient processes
